Welcome to Project Sunshine
at The University of Texas!

Who are we?
At Project Sunshine, we are driven by a single goal: to bring smiles to the faces of pediatric patients all across the country. By partnering with local hospitals in the Austin area and the national Project Sunshine chapter, we coordinate all sorts of fun-filled events for children with medical challenges. We strive to create family-centered opportunities for joy, connection, socialization, and memory-making, thereby making the hospital a positive environment for kids and parents alike.

We specialize in smiles.
At Texas Project Sunshine, we’re committed to investing our expertise, time, and resources to bring play and a positive mindset to children who are hospitalized. As a program centered around the University of Texas at Austin, we primarily provide our services to hospitals and children in the Austin area. Although we're just a branch of a much larger movement, we cherish the same values and strive for the same mission.
